If golf fanatic Tarun Hukku has his way, you´ll soon be talking golf in Marathi. The golf evangelist, who heads support services at an IT infra management company in Bengaluru, also runs social initiative ChotaGolf (.com), which has translated a Beginner´s Guide to Golf, a Glossary of Golf Terms, the Basic Rules of Golf into Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada and Tamil. Fresh off a CXO Invitational Tourney in Bengaluru, Hukku is working on an industry-level event but also wants to take the game to schools. "We are in talks with a sports organisation that holds programmes across 100 schools. They are keen to add golf to their portfolio in conjunction with the expertise ChotaGolf can provide. Our plan is to enter the school segment in early 2011," says Hukku, who hopes that golf becomes the second most popular game in India by 2020.
